Ozzy Osbourne 's death on July 22nd , Sharon Osbourne took to social media for the first time to thank her fans.
Sharon shared a video on her Instagram last Friday, September 12th, alongside her daughter Kelly Osbourne , while practicing her new hobby, falconry, an activity involving the training of birds of prey [via TMZ ].
“I’m still struggling to find words to express how grateful I am for the immense love and support you’ve shown on social media. Your comments, posts, and tributes have brought me more comfort than you can imagine. None of it went unnoticed; in fact, it kept me company for many nights,” Sharon said.
Then, Sharon shows herself and Kelly with several owls at the Cornwall Falconry in England. “Although I’m still finding my way, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with. The connection you create with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust. They will only choose to land on you if they feel you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know very well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
Finally, Sharon thanks her fans: “I love you all and I am deeply grateful for the incredible amount of love you continue to send me.”

Ozzy Osbourne, heavy metal icon and lead singer of Black Sabbath, died on Tuesday, July 22, at the age of 76.
According to the Daily Mail , a family friend said his death was "unexpected ." The Prince of Darkness passed away at his mansion in England. He spent his last days with his wife/businesswoman Sharon Osbourne and his daughters, Kelly and Aimee Osbourne, who cared for him, according to the tabloid.
Furthermore, according to the Daily Mail , a source close to the family stated that "Ozzy always intended to return to live in the United Kingdom, in Buckinghamshire."
“There was a lot of hope that he would remain alive for much longer. But at one point there was a fear that they wouldn’t be able to bring him from Los Angeles for his farewell performance earlier this month,” the friend reportedly said. “It’s extremely sad for all of them, who really hoped he would be able to stay alive for a while longer. But it’s very beautiful to know that he had his children by his side in his final days.”
According to E! News , the death certificate signed by Ozzy's daughter, Aimee Osbourne , states that the cause of the singer's death was a heart attack and acute myocardial infarction. The report also lists concurrent causes as coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with atomic dysfunction.
